Hi, I'm Atena Salaree
I’m a Clinical Psychologist (M.A.) and a Ph.D. student in Health Psychology, dedicated to helping individuals unlock their full potential and build more fulfilling lives.
What I do
From the beginning, I’ve been particularly passionate about working with individuals who face self-esteem challenges that impact their relationships, communication, and overall quality of life. Over the years, I have had the privilege of guiding many clients through pre-marriage counseling, relationship work, and personal growth journeys.
Even before stepping fully into psychotherapy, I began by leading parenting workshops and coaching sessions, a foundation I proudly continue to build upon today.
Who I Help
I work with adults, usually, aged 23 to 50s who are motivated to change but may feel stuck due to issues like low self-esteem, relationship struggles, or difficulty expressing themselves authentically. If you’re ready to invest in yourself — even when it’s hard — you’re exactly the kind of person I am here to support.
My Approach
My journey into the world of psychology has been shaped by both passion and persistence. Early in my career, I explored different approaches, earning numerous certifications as I sought out the methods that truly resonated with me — both scientifically and personally. I began with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), drawn to its practical structure and strong evidence base, offering a solid foundation for helping clients create real change.
However, through experience, I realized that some of the deepest wounds — especially those rooted in childhood — required a more profound approach. This led me to specialize in Schema Therapy and Schema Mode Therapy, an integrative model that addresses the core patterns shaping a person’s emotional world and relationships.
Mission and Vision
While every therapist brings tools and techniques, I believe what truly makes a difference is commitment: to the client’s growth, to continuous learning, and to seeing the strengths in people even when they cannot see them in themselves.
I approach therapy with deep respect for your journey, genuine belief in your potential, and a strong sense of responsibility to help you create the life you deserve. Together, we’ll work not just to heal wounds, but to build a stronger, freer, and more vibrant future.
Because I truly believe: we all deserve a good life — and you don’t have to do it alone.
Dr. Saeed Granpay: Psychiatrist & Mental Health Specialist
I am Dr. Saeed Granpay, a psychiatrist with a professional journey rooted in a deep passion for both adult psychiatric disorders and childhood developmental conditions
What I do
From the very beginning of my medical training, I dedicated my career to understanding and treating mental health challenges across all stages of life. During my psychiatry residency, I trained under leading experts such as Dr. Momtazi and Dr. Hajebi, where I focused on adult psychiatric disorders including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD).
At the same time, I specialized in child and adolescent psychiatry at the Iran Psychiatric Institute, gaining valuable experience in treating autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) under the guidance of the most respected mentors including Dr. Mohammadi, Dr. Shoushtari, and Dr. Shirazi.
Over the years, I have had the privilege of treating thousands of children and adults worldwide, offering effective and evidence-based treatments for a wide range of mental health conditions.
My Approach to Psychiatry & Mental Wellness
What I value most in my work is helping patients move from feelings of helplessness and despair toward well-being, peace of mind, and a return to normal everyday life.
I strongly believe that effective psychiatric treatment not only alleviates symptoms but also helps people break free from the weight of stigmatizing labels, empowering them to rediscover their strengths and potential.
Supporting Iranian Expats Worldwide
Unfortunately, I have witnessed how, in many countries across Europe, North America, and Australia, individuals who could greatly benefit from psychiatric consultation and personalized treatment plans often face barriers due to insurance policies or limited access to culturally sensitive care.
Despite the challenges of cross-border treatment—particularly in terms of medication access—I have been fortunate to support many Iranian expats and Farsi-speaking communities around the world, helping them regain stability and enjoy a higher quality of life.
My Belief
I believe that living well is not a luxury—it is our responsibility and right. With professional guidance, empathy, and the right treatment plan, every individual has the opportunity to achieve mental wellness, resilience, and a fulfilling life.
